Container transport

Container transportation has taken a huge flight the last decennia, as well as in numbers but also in diversity of the type of containers, and type of goods which are transported with containers.  Besides that the number of modalities for container transport, as well as port locations have increased noticeably. Troost Group is continuously following the developments to make sure we, as carrier, can be up-to-date with the material, the people, automation, etc.  For example we have material that’s capable of transporting reefer containers, with genset as well as with the TRS-system at our disposal. Besides that Troost has invested in the future, with new material which can also transport from the new Maasvlakte because the trucks meet the latest requirements, which are Euro 6 engines.

Temperature controlled transport:

International transport

Troost Group can provide excellent service in the temperature controlled segment, and has recently invested in new trailers and trucks for this. The organization is HACCP-certified and can therefore also transport food for its clients.

Troost Group has recently successfully integrated a specialist goods package with an existing package.

Inland distribution

The inland distribution is provided for a number of medium-sized food manufacturers that work with either fresh services as well as with ‘best before’ labels. Double shifts can be made so that a 24-hours service can be delivered. The distribution can be seen as a custom made product because Troost Group works from short lead times where quality and being in time are of paramount importance. Of course we also work with the HACCP-guide lines within this service. To deliver quality and to meet the HACCP legislations, instructions and procedures have to be followed continuously. The registration of data such as temperature, cleaning and maintenance of the transportation resources are important points.
